Somebody reached out recently to ask if I coach agents for hire. It’s a fair question, and the plain answer is no. The more useful answer is what I do instead, because it says a lot about what an agent gets from the right team.

Coaching and leading a team aren’t the same job. A whole industry is built around training agents, run by names most people in this business would recognize. Paid programs, courses, masterminds, the works, and the people behind them are genuinely good at it. That’s a real profession, and it isn’t mine. I’m not selling a program to agents I’ll never meet.

I do the same work, just inside my own team. The strategy, the hands-on attention, the investment in an agent’s growth - I’m doing all of it every single day. The only difference between that and a paid program is who it’s for and what it costs. Mine is for my agents, and there’s no monthly fee attached. Being on the team is the full price of admission.

The real coaching happens in the small moments. Agents come to me constantly with the questions that actually decide outcomes. How to handle a particular contract. How to answer an objection from a client or another agent. None of that waits for a scheduled call, and most agents don’t realize how much those moments matter until they’ve spent a stretch without anyone to bring them to.

My job is to help agents stand out. I want the people on my team to be the professionals this community points to, and my staff and I are built around getting them there. I care about where this industry is headed, and I’d rather it be full of agents who know what they’re doing. If that’s the kind of backing you want on every deal, that’s what the team is.
